Kissy

Kissy is a Dogue de Bordeaux (remember Turner & Hooch?)  The Dogue de Bordeaux originated at the time when English kings ruled Aquitaine, before it was annexed to France.  The breed is said to be the result of breeding English Mastiffs with the large Aquitanian guard dogs, with possibly some Spanish mastiff blood introduced to give the breed a more 'ferocious' look.  Dogues were highly prized for hunting boars and bears.  They have also served as war dogs, drove cattle, and guarded flocks from wolves and bears.  They were also used as fighting dogs for sport against bulls and bears, and against other dogs.  Kissy is a doll.  She is sweet, loving, and great with children, family and friends.  She knows how to sit, down, shake, 'other paw', and getting pretty good at catching treats.  She also LOVES to dig (I think she was a worker on the Panama Canal in a former life).  She smiles!  Love that.
