John Marrs born 1724 in Scotland John Marrs is thought to have been married to
Pulsohola Folsom, thedaughter of Adam Folsom and a Choctaw woman who is
unknown at this time. Virginia Tax list: John Marrs 200 A. in King WilliamCounty 1704: John Marrs, a Scotsman, was living in Virginia in
1760. He had two sons,Hugh and William, Hugh being the older. Hugh
married and reared three sons and one daughter: James, Sam, Alex, and
Catherine. Hugh moved to Georgia about 1784, where Catherine was born
